What we publish, and what we quote
These are the prices confirmed for specific jobs. Ask about yours before any work begins. The final scope depends on what we find.
Published prices
Boilers, water heaters and toilet repair
These are quoted per job rather than at a fixed price, because the answer depends on what has failed. Send a photo of the rating plate or the inside of the cistern and we will tell you the likely cost before anyone drives out, usually inside 15 minutes.
Anything not listed
If the fault is different from the ones above, ask. We will give you a real number rather than a guess, and the figure does not change once the spanner is out.
What the price depends on
- What has actually failed. A trap is not a stack.
- Whether the part is on the van. Fill valves, flush cartridges, flexi connectors and common traps always are. Anything else we collect on the way, and it is included in the price you were given.
- Access and parking. On an urbanisation where the van cannot get near the door the job takes longer. Tell us before we set off.
- Whether it is communal. If the blockage is in the stack that serves the building, it belongs to the community and we will say so before we start.
What we will not do
Give you one price on the phone and a different one at the door. Charge a call-out fee for a job we then do. Charge you for telling you it is not worth repairing.
